• President opened the meeting at 6:30PM
• President asked for approval of the September meeting minutes
• Voted and the September meeting minutes were approved
• Treasure gave report
• Voted to accept the Treasures Report
• Reviewed the Association Manager’s update on correspondence and called her to confirm if the insurance invoices were correct. President stated that we had no need for liability insurance because Mr.Hipp was picking up the invoice for the entrance sign, same as last year. Association Manager to handle with President.
• President asked the VP to give an update on the street lights. All of the lights have been changed out along Ashley Garden.
• The Meeting Street sign, fence and the grass cutting issue was resolved, by the October meeting. The fence will remain as is and the fence signs were removed. The grass was cut and trimmed and will be maintained per Meeting Street. The Meeting Street sign at the junction of Ashley Garden Blvd and Grand Oaks needs to be removed. (VP has not contacted Meeting Street about this sign)
• The removal of the Haddon Hall signs, one on Grand Oaks Blvd and the other at the junction of Ashley Garden Blvd and Grand Oaks. (VP has not contacted Haddon Hall)
• The City has been notified about the broken concrete side walks and the backfill needed along Ashley Garden Road. The City responded and said that the sidewalks were not bad enough to be replaced. I will ask for a face to face meeting with the City supervisor and review again in September. (Not resolved)
• VP to call SCANA about adding one street light at the entrance of Grand Oaks to match the other entry sign. Also will inquire about adding additional street lights along the south stretch of Ashley Garden Drive from Grand Oaks Blvd to the City Park along the same side of the street to match the existing North side of Ashley Garden Drive. ( Not resolved)
• The next Board Meeting November10, 2009 at 6:30PM @ the VP’s house
• Meeting Closed at 8:20PM
